*The reason why we have not gone to library events is Jacob, of course. He is too wild and cannot sit still or keep out of trouble. I intend not to be banned from the library for the rest of our lives, and so I decided that we do not give them a reason to kick us out at events.
Ally, being 9 3/4 years old, did not want to go see Santa.
"It's not even the real Santa," she said.
Ally thought it was a waste of time to go see a fake Santa and that seeing a fake Santa is for babies.
John just shook his head; Ally is in for a big surprise soon enough.
I am glad, however, that Ally still believes. I thought for sure that last year was the last year for her to believe in Santa. So far, it looks like we’ll get another year that she believes.
