We got to work early this morning so I decided to bring him over to my building to say hi to everyone before I took him to the daycare.
Jacob ran in there with a much higher energy level than usual. He brought my water bottle with me on our way to the kitchen and despite my numerous unheard attempts to ask him to stop trying to juggle the bottle, he didn't listen (what a surprise). The bottle was halfway filled with water, which spilled all over the floor and all over him. Jacob was not even in the office for more than 2 minutes and he has already flooded the hallway.

I just don't know what to do with him. He has been extremely wild for the past couple of weeks. I have also been getting a lot of reports of him not listening at school, or throwing something at his friends, and him getting in a fight with one of his best buddies yesterday.

If you've ever seen the movie, Little Monsters, with Howie Mandel, I would akin Jacob's wildness with Maurice, the monster played by Howie.
Jacob cannot sit still, he likes to pull pranks on everyone and loves destroying all things around him. If it wasn't against child abuse guidelines, I would like to put him in one of those balls that you put hamsters in that lets them run around without having them escape - only the ball will be bigger to fit Jacob in it. I had planned several times to tie his waste to a rope that is attached to a stake in the ground. Our neighbor does this for their dogs to let the dogs have some running around time, without running off somewhere. But you know, child protection services would probably be in my house within minutes of me tying him out there. Such is my dilemma. How to do I get Jacob to use up his neverending amount of energy?
There is just no containing him. Even when we go outside and let him play and run around, he always gets into trouble like picking up branches and smacking things and people around him or throwing stuff around. Jacob is a little monster in disguise but he is also so cute at the same time. He certainly keeps our house full of lively energy, although this energy of his drains me out of my own energy very fast; I get tired just watching him run around the house, as he destroys everything along the way.
