Since this seems to be an inborn talent for him, it is really no surprise that things could only get even sillier and goofier with him as he gets older. Jacob is currently working on his talent to voluntarily move his ears. I'm not sure where he actually got this idea, but one day he asked me how he can move his ears without using his hands. Now, I may have inadvertently encouraged him when I said that John's one cousin can move his ears.
From that day on, he has been practicing everyday. The funniest thing is that he ends up moving his eyebrows up and down as he tries to flex his "earlobe muscles." The eyes move around too and sometimes his shoulders as well.
I have decided that I would like my kids to pursue what they enjoy; I don't want them to grow up and get stuck doing something that they dislike, just for the sake of doing it. I really have no firm expectations that they will be famous or super rich someday. I would be okay even if they don't become doctors or rocket scientists. It really doesn't matter, the only important thing is that they enjoy life and love what they do.

At school, I am known as "Jacob's mom," although some kids do know that I have an actual name. I will not be surprised if I, later on, become known as "the clown's mom."
But that's just fine with me, as long as my clown is happy.
